Aiden Simon Mackle, 44, of Portadown, Northern Ireland, was accused of telling a Delta Air Lines employee that he was a terrorist after drinking and becoming unruly on Flight 146 from Atlanta. The flight was diverted to Bangor International Airport early Saturday.

Aaargh, I am so fed up with gate agents who let their "problems" continue right on down the jetway and onto the plane. Last week in Charlotte an agent at planeside admitted that this guy was drunk as he boarded and staggered right on down the aisle. They were ready to "close the door" and get the flight out. I told the Cap. and we deplaned him. And, I insisted that the agents handle it...they were going to push the responsibility onto me to deplane. NOT !

I have zero tolerance...inevitably it becomes a problem in the air, problem for crews, worse for pax who also have to deal with the moron next to them.
