Default New Year, Old Problem: Nuts on a Plane

I was browsing CNN and found two recent incidents where passengers have gone off the deep end. forcing unscheduled landings and police intervention:

Unruly passenger charged in AirTran incident
http://www.cnn.com/2010/CRIME/01/11/...ger/index.html
A 47-year-old Virginia man was charged Monday with interfering with a flight crew during a flight last week in which he allegedly became intoxicated and unruly, leading authorities to scramble fighter jets and the pilot to make an emergency landing

Fighter jets escort plane after passenger becomes unruly
http://www.cnn.com/2010/TRAVEL/01/06...tml#cnnSTCText
Two F-15 fighter jets escorted a passenger jet that had been headed for Hawaii back to Portland International Airport in Oregon after a passenger in coach became "uncooperative," an airline official said Wednesday.

Now that we have the "Passengers Bill of Rights" there should be accompanying legislation to keep these bozos grounded permanently.

Sounds like a sequel to "Snakes on the Plane".
Never seen snakes on the plane? Look in the cockpit.
