Last week, I received a newsletter where this thread was featured, with a link to the fora:

http://www.elsevier.nl/persoonlijk/a.../ja/index.html

Apparently the magazine considered it newsworthy.

Default Here's my updated celebrity list

I've had the following celebrities on my flights in First Class and coach

1. Matthew Perry - He's so sweet!!! Love him.
He told jokes and quite
amusing.
He was going to Los
Los Angeles from Las Vegas

2. Andre Aggassi - I've had him twice on a
flight. Nice, sexy legs
and he always orders
Bloody Mary.
Flights from Las Vegas to
Los Angeles

3. Michael J. Fox - He was very quiet and
kept a very low profile.
Flight from JFK to Las
Vegas

4. Drew Carry - He is so nice and ordered
Pepsi.Ilove him even though
he sometimes makes fun of
Flight Attendants. Flight
from Las Vegas to
to Los Angeles

5. Catherine O'Hara - The Mom from Home Alone
and Beetle Juice. She is very
sweet and very nice. I love
her. Flying from Las Vegas to
Atlanta.

6. John Leguizamo - No Comment.

7. Marlon Wayans - Hmm...Well he ordered
pepsi and seemed aloof.
maybe if I had been a
female flight attendant he
would have act differently.

8. Tia Carrera - Very, Very Sweet! I love her
She sat in coach and ended
up sitting in a middle seat.
The Flight was overbooked and
she never complained about
it. I have total respect for
her. She is a gem. She was
very humble and sweet.

9. Actress from Days of our Lives - I can't
remember her name, but she
played multiple characters
in Days of Our Lives. She
flew from Las Vegas to
Milwaukee on a late night
flight. She covered herself
with a blanket and slept the
whole flight.

10. Jeremy Piven - Urgh. Watch out for this guy, he'll try to smooth talk the flight attendant to get him and his assistant a free upgrade. Buy your own upgrade, you're a freaking celebrity!

11. Brandy - traveled with her child. Very sweet and nice, didn't ask the flight attendant for help. She asked the people around her if she could switch seats with her, so she could seat next to her boyfriend/fiance/husband???

12. Nicky Ziering - Very sweet. She was so hungry and ate 3 bags of snack mix. lol

13. O.J. Simpson - Tried to take somebody else's seat. He sat in the emergency exit row and when I tried to brief him in the exit row and if he was willing and able to assist to crew, him and his entourage laughed. Urgh!!!! His girlfriend looks like Nicole. It was freaky. Nobody wanted to switch seats with him.

14. Richard Simmons - What a queen! What's up with those shorts? Why does he wear them all the time? He was soo loud and his voice carries!

15. Senator John Kerry - Very nice guy. I'd vote for him.

16. Lou Ferrigno - Urgh. No comment. Doesn't want to be bothered, but he did sign a kid's autograph.

17. Ron Jeremy - He was sweating and asked for a blanket. (I don't get it?) Probably to wipe his forehead, but he was very nice.

Default Nanny 911!

I saw the Nanny from Nanny 911. She was staying at the same hotel we use in Anchorage. It was pretty cool.

Default Celebrities flying the great white north

Pretty much every "celebrity" has been quite nice and usually pretty quiet and low-keyed.

Recently had:
Don Cheadle - VERY NICE and humble.
Miranda Richardson - very polite though I thought she was a russian mafia's wife based on the way she dressed, until I doublechecked her name on the list.
Alanis Morrisette - very polite but TINY girl.
Boxer Lennox Lewis - one of the nicest and polite men on board even though he looks (and can) probably beat anybody up.

Also had Emma Caulfield (on tv show "Buffy"), Jeremy Northam, Ryan Gosling, Heather Locklear all who were very nice and polite and down to earth (which surprised the hell out of me for Heather Locklear who was one of the sweetest people and the complete opposite of the Diva's she usually plays).

Hillary Duff was probably the only actress that really had attitude. Obviously the attention and her lack of age has gone to her head.

The rudest person though was one of the Reichman Brothers (one of the wealthiest families in Canada). He even asked to keep the wine from the airplane to bring home. guess thats why he's rich since he takes everything free. He was like a child and didn't seem to know how to take care of himself.

No bad onboard experiences. Although Jesse Jackson would not take any item from a flight attendant; he would have an assistant take the item for him.

Celebrities I have had onboard:

*Al Gore--early politico days, never paid for his beer, staff aide didn't offer
*Kevin Kline--very pleasant, didn't mind unplanned aircraft switch
*Muhammed Ali--slept entire flight(s); post-Parkinson's. Felt bad for him.
*Anne Murray--very nice, courteous, just the way you'd think she would be. Gladly signed autograph for my mom.
*David Clennon (character actor; "Flags of Our Fathers;" "Syriana," Michael Stedman's (Ken Olin) evil boss on Thirtysomething); he was so humble and surprised that I recognized him, I put him in first class and he had it all to himself; he effusively thanked me for doing so. Very unassuming guy.
*Bill Kurtis (CBS newscaster, documentary host, voice-over). Read book entire flight, did not make eye contact with anyone. (I had wanted to tell him that I admired his work in journalism. Oh, well, his loss...LOL)
*Jesse Jackson, see above.
*Pat Lucey, former governor of Wisconsin, ambassador to Mexico, running mate of John Anderson, 1980 presidential election.
*Tom Monaghan, founder of Domino's Pizza.
*Many other politicians, too numerous to count

Sports Teams:

New York Rangers (NHL)
New York Islanders (NHL)

(Hockey teams) Always dressed up in jackets and ties after games, not rowdy, perfect gentlemen.

Now deceased:

*Conway Twitty, country music star
*Senator Paul Simon, Illinois (bowtie wearing progressive); always a gentleman

Also, I never bothered celeb's by drawing attention to them, as I was trained. But now I wish I had started an autograph book.

BTW, this is a great thread, I have learned a great deal about celebrities, here...Drew Barrymore sounds like a really great woman...Joan Rivers, also, which I wouldn't have expected. But I didn't realize John McCain could be such an egotist, and JLo, well....

Dougie Howzer and boy-friend. I hated that show and never liked it. But someone recognized him....
